Mel and his professional team kept us well informed of everything. They took great care of us with the upmost professionalism, respect, and courtesy.
Their expertise for their shop is far beyond what I expected. Fast, efficient, effective, and great quality work from the whole team right from the mechanics working on the floor to the leader in the office. This includes the wonderful receptionist we met when we first entered the shop where she meets you with a smiling face, and guide you with expertise.
They are all one big team there, and it shows. They seem more like a family, and once we went there, they seemed to treat us like family also.
As you can see they ensure their customers are treated appropriately and respectfully.
Now for their work. I have loved this truck since I bought it. I park it away from everything and everyone and maybe put 1k on it every 6 months. Clean it often, and don't let anyone drive it. Not even the wife. I drive her. ( don't let her know I typed this) So when it comes to someone working on it I am very particular. I done my research and got a recommendation for this shop from a very reliable source. We dropped down to the shop when they were half way through the job and Mel explained what they had to do and I stood by the garage door and had a look. I swear they were putting in a new transmission and I think they were just saying they rebuilt my old one.
So Mel calls me the day of picking it up. We go down to get it. He comes to the front reception explains everything once again, and even takes a little time to have a chat. Of course the wonderful lady at the reception is trying to get him to go back to work and get him out of her space. We take the truck out for a Sunday drive to see how it's working, not wanting to push it yet and still not sure what to expect. Well to say the least I think that they should contracted by GMC to rebuild all their new transmission before they are installed on their new trucks. This truck has never shifted so nicely up or down since I bought it. I checked out underneath and everything has been tucked away nicely and secured. Great quality craftsmanship and workmanship.
